Fuji, Japan – JATCO Ltd will be exhibiting at the Automotive Engineering Exposition 2025 YOKOHAMA, which will be held May 21–23, 2025 at Pacifico Yokohama. Furthermore, our President and CEO, Tomoyoshi Sato will hold a press briefing at our booth on May 21 from 9:03 am to 9:18 am.

Under our Corporate Purpose of “Driving the possibilities of mobility with technology and passion,” JATCO will contribute to the realization of a sustainable society to respond to carbon neutrality and other societal needs though both our automotive business and our new non-automotive business lines.

Our booth theme this year is “The year our electric powertrains and new business lines come to market.” We will be exhibiting the 3-in-1 (for electric vehicles) and 5-in-1 (for e-POWER) electrified powertrains for Nissan Motor Co., Ltd. that we will begin mass producing this FY2025 and introducing a few of their technologies.  In addition, as an initiative to secure our future competitiveness, we will also exhibit a unit test car equipped with our e-Axle, which is under technological development and aiming for both high output power and compact size.

As for our new business lines, we plan to bring multiple products to market in FY2025 and will be exhibiting an electric-assist bicycle equipped with our drive unit along with a cut-away model of the drive unit. In addition, we will exhibit, for the first time, a real 2-speed in-wheel motor drive unit for electric motorcycles being jointly developed with Zhejiang Jiuzhou New Energy Technology Co., Ltd., a prominent Chinese electric two-wheeler drive unit manufacturer.
